Helmut is a Partner in the Corporate Team specialising in Banking and Finance. Helmut specialises in advising clients including financial institutions, corporates and funds in relation to a broad range of finance transactions.

He specialises in corporate banking, acquisition and leveraged finance, real estate finance, energy and infrastructure finance and asset backed finance.

Clare is a Partner in the Construction & Infrastructure Team. Clare is a project finance specialist with skills that cover both banking documentation and commercial contracts.

She has been in practice for over 20 years, the first 14 of them in London, mostly with Norton Rose. She is a project finance specialist with skills that cover both banking documentation and commercial contracts, in both a US and an international context.

Clare advises on a broad portfolio of projects, including advising local authorities, contractors and funders on project finance structures and outsourcings in many sectors, from PFI through to waste, accommodation and other infrastructure. She has a particular focus on waste projects and decentralised energy projects, including district heating networks.

Lizzy is a Solicitor in the Banking and Finance Team. Lizzy assists the Banking and Finance Team in acting for banks, lenders and borrowers on a range of financing transactions. Prior to joining the Banking and Finance Team, Izzy has undertaken seats in the Dispute Resolution Team and in the Professional and Financial Risks Team. Izzy has also previously worked as a Paralegal in the Commercial Property department, assisting with work for a number of commercial clients.

George is a Partner in the Real Estate Team. George has significant experience of advising clients on development related transactions and regularly acts for national organisations on security related transactions.

George frequently advises developer and landowner clients in relation to freehold acquisitions, disposals and development agreements. He also regularly advises on other types of property transactions with a focus on secured lending and investment/portfolio work.

George has recently advised a client in connection with the acquisition of a $45 million pound development site with the benefit of planning consent for residential dwellings, a village square and retail and office accommodation and is currently advising in relation to the subsequent disposal of Phase 1 and the affordable housing elements.
